A walk out earlier today produced a few shots of Small Tortoiseshell butterflies photographed from low down against a very bright sunlit background. I’m not sure about these contre jour images but after quite a lot of processing I think they’re worth an airing. View the full post
Taken on Saturday (2 days ago) these Small Tortoiseshells are in pristine condition and appear to be newly emerged. They’re the first ones I’ve seen this Summer. View the full post
