Quite a few Butterflies about earlier today, in spite of the wind and rain. Here are three shots of a pair of Large Skippers, one of which appeared to be trying to mate with the other, less interested one. View the full post
The first sightings, yesterday, of Large Skippers in 2016. The warm(ish) weather seems to have brought them out in large numbers, mainly on Brambles. There were a few Speckled Woods about and the odd Meadow Brown so hopefully if we get some more warm dry weather there’ll be a lot more to photograph. View the full post
