Today I’ve posted four photos of 6046, an American clss S160 steam locomotive sent originally to France in 1946 in the aftermath of the Second World War to help with the rebuilding of Europe. The Engine eventually became part of the Hungarian State Railways, was eventually sent for scrap but was purchased, saved and brought to the UK. The engine is normally based on the Churnet Valley Railway.
These shots are taken at Grosmont on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway.
