Yesterday, Easter Monday, the annual World Coal Carrying Championships were held in the village of Gawthorpe, West Yorkshire. These are three shots of the Veterans’ Race.

Today is the first of four days of the Huddersfield Food and Drink Festival held in St. George’s Square in front of the imposing railway station. These are a shots of a guy on stilts who was wandering around the Square making balloon sculptures of animals for the kids that were there.
