I’ve been sorting out my hard drives and processing some images from the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway’s Winter Steam Gala held earlier this year. Below are three shots of combinations of engines used as double headers on some of the train run over the weekend of the gala.
Three more shots from the recent Steam Gala on the Worth Valley Railway. These are all of one of the railway’s resident tank engine, ex. LNWR Coal Tank number 1054.
Two of the shots are taken at the passing loop at Damems and the other at Oxenhope station.
I’ve got round to sorting out some of the images from this year’s Winter Steam Gala on the Worth Valley Railway and here are three footplate portraits processed in black and white. The first two were taken at Oxenhope station and the third at Ingrow West.
More Photos from the KWVR Winter Steam Gala. Today, three shots of the former LNWR 0-6-2 Coal Tank 1054 at the head of a double-header heading from Keighley to Oxenhope. The first two shots are taken as the train approaches and pulls in to Howarth station and the third one shows the engine at Oxenhope in the headshunt uncoupled from the train and about to run around the train. The second engine on the double headed train is ex.Taff Vale Railway Class 02 0-6-2T No. 85.

While we were waiting on Oxenhope station platform for our train to arrive I wandered around with my camera taking shots of some of the bits and pieces that would have been associated with, connected to, a traditional steam railway station.
