The warm weather today seems to have brought out the Butterflies for the first time this year. Here are some shots of the first Tortoiseshells (Aglais urticae).
There were quite a few of these Harlequin Ladybirds on our garden hedge earlier today, but, unfortunately, none of the native species.
Orange-tip Butterflies from Springtime.
Still using photos from last year, these being shots of Red Soldier Beetles.
Still with butterflies, a few more Painted Ladies, captured early Autumn.
After a sort out of my HDD here are a few shots of Peacocks. Not many of these about last Summer.
