Hungry Blue Tits
We don’t normally get a lot of birds in the garden on the feeders at this time of year, but with the cold, wet weather we’re having at the moment there are a lot of hungry Blue Tits (along with Robins, Great Tits, Magpies etc., etc.) about. A while after the Blue Tit visited the feeder yesterday afternoon We had this Reed Bunting (Emberiza schoeniclus) visiting. He was far less nervous about me being there and spent several minutes eating before flying away. View the full post
Cyanistes caeruleus
Cyanistes caeruleus, the common Blue Tit. I managed to get quite close to this one earlier this afternoon as it landed on the feeder. I got a few shots before the bird flew off having decided he wasn’t hungry or that I was too close. View the full post
