Mating Common Blue Damselflies captured from the towpath of the Dewsbury Cut section of the Calder and Hebble navigation. It’s generally quite predictable when they appear at the location, usually on the first warm sunny day in June. there tend to be lots of them for a day or two then they become less common, I assume as they disperse.
