Just one picture today. A Peacock (Inachis io) butterfly taking the Sun and allowing a small garden Spider to walk over it’s wings, albeit only briefly.
The Peacock was still and allowed the Spider on it’s wings for a very short time before forcing the Spider to retreat by doing a sort of mini-flutter with it’s wings. This happened two or three times before the butterfly decided it was time to leave.
