Some more shots from my visit to the National Railway Museum at York yesterday.
There were too many people about to get any decent full shot of the engines so I’ve posted a few photos of some of the other items in the museum.
The first is the inside of a TPO (Traveling Post Office), followed by a shot of a station trolley loaded with travellers’ cases, a raiway cart adjacent to a station latrine and finally a large railway clock.
The shots are a bit noisey on account of the fact that I hadn’t taken my flash with me and had to rely on available light and the (inadequate) pop-up flash on the camera.
That’s the excuses over with.
